Another tough game for the U16's. We didn't necessarily expect to win the game as we know how strong and physical the Fireflies team are.

However, we got off to a great strong start with the first quarter ending with just a 2 goal difference in their favour.

Whilst they started to pull away by the second quarter, we managed to keep it to within 10 goals- which we were very pleased with as their shooting circle was a dominant force that barely missed a shot! Defence had their work cut off trying to stop it getting into the circle.

With fresh legs on the bench and lots of swapping around we managed to keep on going and fighting to the end with a focus on that all important 1 point- we knew we had to stay within half and we fought hard to achieve that.

So whilst not a win, a performance we were proud of as we fought to the last whistle and got what we came for- that point!
