Whilst we didn't come away with the win on this occasion- it was a well contested match with the team working hard and pulling together- we fought to the very end and it honestly could have gone either way!

We started strong and the score was swinging 1 goal each way during the first quarter with neither team taking a solid lead.

We had some great defensive pressure from the whole team on court with lots of interceptions and tips- and we managed to convert most to goals.

As we entered the third quarter- whilst we continued to turnover more balls than the opposition, as fatigue kicked in we made quite a few costly silly mistakes with us throwing the ball away which sadly led to our opposition taking a 6 goal lead over us.

As we went into the fourth quarter we had a few great runs where we almost clawed it back, but alas it was not meant to be our day with nothing going our way in the final quarter- leading to a narrow loss of 5 goals.

We will learn from this and come back stronger for the second time round as I am convinced we can beat them- especially with some fresh legs! The whole team did well to grind out 60 minutes of fast intense netball with just one sub everyone really did give everything they had!

POMs went to Maisie who played a blinder in defence, and Scarlett who was relentless for the full 60 minutes at C!
