Wow wow wow- what a game! Easy to say now the stress has passed !

After a long netball and sport filled week the girls were tired but keen to ensure they came away with the win today after an unusual loss in the Wavell league on Thursday night! We also knew it was a must win game if we wanted to stay within the shot of winning the U11 league title this year!

We knew it would be a tough game, but the girls- inspired from their win this week at IAPS took to the court with fierce determination and took a solid lead in the first quarter!

The teamwork and discipline on court was great with everyone working hard to do their job and help each other- we managed to capitalize on our turnovers with some awesome teamwork and shooting from Amelie and Rose.

We managed to keep our lead for the entire game- there was a hairy moment where they came back to within 4 goals- but with renewed focus and vigour we managed to take the win in the 4th quarter with a decent margin of 11 goals!

With just 2 games to go until the end of the season- the top of the table is looking very tight- but with Jags on top- lets do this girls!

Well done girls- I hope the mini eggs were worth it!
