After our one loss at County in our last game we knew we had to focus and play our game to secure the win today!

We knew from last time we played Fireflies that they would be a strong opposition and physical. With just 8 players we had our work cut out. We've also bene plagued with sickness over the last week so pleased the girls recovered enough to play- and special thanks to Sophie who wasn't feeling fully recovered but played anyway to help the team!

With it being Emilie's birthday the team wanted a special win to make her day- and they didn't disappoint!

Whilst the game was close for the first two quarters with it going goals for goal, with great defensive pressure all round on court we managed to turn over enough balls and with outstanding shooting from Rose we pulled ahead by the second half of the game!

Fuelled with mini eggs for the final quarter we managed to push on and hit the magic 30 goals- well done girls!

Great focus and versatility shown by all- a real team effort and spirit out on court!
